Hotel Crocus**** at Štrbské Pleso has put together the answers to the questions guests most often ask at the reception. Go through them in the order you will need them, from arrival through meals to relaxing in the wellness area.

Arrival and departure
Accommodation and reception
- Check-in is possible from 15:00. Depending on how full the hotel is, we can accommodate you earlier for a fee of 30 €.
- Check-out is by 10:00. If capacity allows, leaving the apartment later is possible for an extra 30 €.
- Please ask the reception in advance, by phone or e-mail, for an early arrival, a late departure or a cot.
- For arrivals before 06:00 the accommodation rate for the whole preceding night is charged.

Meals
Breakfast and dinner
- Breakfast 7:30 – 10:00 buffet style. We set up the buffet tables from 10 accommodated guests upwards.
- Dinner 17:30 – 19:30 buffet style: a starter, soup, a choice of 3 main courses and dessert.
- When the hotel is less full, we replace the buffet with a selection of à la carte dishes.
Do you have a food intolerance? Let the reception know at least 48 hours before your arrival so that we can arrange suitable food.

Wellness
Private wellness
- The private wellness area is booked at the hotel reception on arrival.
- The wellness area is charged according to the current price list.

Practical information
Parking
Parking on the hotel grounds is free for the whole length of your stay, one car per reservation. If you arrive in several cars, you can park with us for a fee or at the nearby central paid car park. Indoor garage parking is also available, with a limited number of places, for 15 € per night.
Families with children
A children's corner with a TV and cartoons, a children's menu, a cot, a potty, a toilet seat reducer and a nasal aspirator on sale at the reception. If you would like anything prepared in the apartment before you arrive, write to us in advance.
Apartment vs. roomFun and free time
The common room is open all year round: table tennis, air hockey, billiards and games on the Xbox.
Pets
Pets can stay in selected apartments only and must be announced in advance. Dogs must wear a muzzle and be kept on a lead in public areas, and animals are not allowed in the restaurant or the dining room. The fee is 25 € per night.

At Hotel Crocus you can use your employer's recreation allowance. We have prepared the details of how to use it and the accounting requirements separately.
Recreation allowanceReception
The reception will arrange your private wellness booking, an early check-in or a late check-out, and will prepare children's equipment in the apartment before you arrive.
Smoking
All hotel areas are non-smoking, including the apartments, balconies and common areas. This applies to cigarettes, tobacco products and smoke-free products alike. Breaking the ban carries a fee of 200 €.
Quiet hours
Quiet hours are from 22:00 to 06:00. You may receive visitors in your apartment with the reception's consent between 14:00 and 22:00.
Ski room and bicycles
A shared ski room with lockable cabinets in the hotel basement is there for skis and ski boots, and for bicycles in the warmer months. Walking around the hotel in ski boots is not allowed. In the winter months the SkiBus is available right at the stop by the hotel.
Cancellation policy
You can cancel or change your reservation in writing at recepcia@hotel-crocus.eu, always quoting the reservation number from your confirmation. Cancellation is free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.

The percentages are calculated from the price of the ordered and confirmed services. For group reservations, 30 % applies to cancellation 30 to 20 days before arrival, 60 % for 19 to 10 days and 100 % for 9 days or fewer. Cancellation terms may differ for a particular offer; the binding ones are always part of the reservation confirmation, that is, the voucher.
