This modest hiking trail will take you to a mountain lake among limbo groves west of Štrbské Pleso. The surface area of the Jamské tarn is 0.67 ha with maximum depth of 4.2 m. It is located in the Važecká valley near the “Tatra Highway” and was named after the summit of the Jama peak which towers over the tarn. You can get there in about an hour of walking on a wide and well-marked trail.
